So, today I wanted to talk to you guys about a pressing issue that has been around for many years and hasn’t gone away, which is BEAUTY.
For women, society has unfortunately dictated what being beautiful or beauty really is, which are girls on billboards, magazines, actresses, models, singers and others. This of course has led us to believe that we aren’t good enough and that we are just average/plain.
Because of society we have degraded ourselves and we have forgotten the true meaning of beauty, which is being your own unique self.
Everybody is beautiful in their own way. Just because we aren’t skinny or don’t have the most perfect hair or have blue/green eyes or have certain attributes doesn’t make us any less beautiful.
For many years, I’ve always thought that I was less than pretty, that I wasn’t like those girls in magazines and that I wasn’t good enough for anybody. I’ve realized that beauty isn’t everything. Yeah, I have to admit some people are drop dead gorgeous, but they can have the worst personalities in the world. Besides, beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.
Just remember, a man or woman doesn’t define you as a person. You need to realize that you are beautiful just the way you are. There are, of course, going to be people who are going to belittle you, but they’re also those who will praise you for your looks. However, in the end of the day only you can define yourself, which is being beautiful.
I am 5’5, 160 pounds, have boy short hair, I’m a 38 DD and I barely have an ass. I consider myself beautiful and no one else can tell me any different.
Of course, you can change your lifestyle if you want to. If you want to be healthy and you loose weight in the process than that’s awesome, but at the of the day you have to be the person who decides that, not anybody else.
This post was inspired by Dove’s recent video on beauty.
Until next Friday!
Don’t forget to love yourself!
